The Time in which we live!

I am preparing a talk to submit to the FWB chamber of commerce for a lunch roundtable they are providing during the next several months. Any member can submit a subject to better give detail to your particular business. Since I sell faith, hope and love I have to turn my attention to giving solid thoughts for a businessperson to gain value out of this lunch. Here are my points I am considering:

- Create a sense of credibility

- Make trust be the centerpiece of your product.

- Focus on what matters

- Separate who you are by what you do

- Distinguish your business with excellence

So, tell me if you had the opportunity to teach savvy business folk what would tell them!!

Peace and Love!

As my mentor stressed to me when I first entered the professional world after college, 'Don't be afraid to think outside the box'. It is so easy to blame the economy, but the reality is, not everyone is unemployed and not every business has failed. If we do what we have always done we will always get the same result...So, what can I do to not only survive, but excel. What product am I not delivering that people are wanting. Instead of hanging on to what I have always delivered, can I let go and try something new...A new delivery, a new product, a new way to package this. Peter walked on water during a storm, not when it was calm and a certain man I know started a church with his wife and kids.

All In Thinking

Open lines of communication within the rank and file starts the the process of having a employee to committ to being a part of the Company. Once an employee identifies with the trails and trebulations of the company they feel they are a part of it. Thus they start connecting their production and effort with how well or how bad a company is doing. By feeling they are part of process they then to want to do more to make the company sucessful. Then if you tie in compensation with company gains then you have a loyal and dedicated employee willing to put forth the extra effort for your company to be sucessful. HA

Don't plan to just survive, plan to thrive....it's biblical.
Make sure your business adheres to the golden rule. Stand on the other side of the counter to get a different perspective.
Over come your fears. I have a quote above my computer that reads "never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the Ark. Professionals built the Titanic...."
